This client wanted to replace the sterile space of her semi-detached house and brighten it up with Cottage garden planting that would be full of colour and plants to attract wildlife.

We also created a more secluded garden by adding trellis to the low fences and two pergolas which added height and screening from the neighbours. With a seating area to catch the afternoon sun and which will be out of sight from the house once the planting has matured.

Much larger borders were created full of wild-life friendly plants and climbers were added for additional height and to soften the pergolas and fences.

Birds, bees and butterflies are now regular visitors to the garden. As well as it being loved by the owner’s dog and cat!
