Planting advice was given to this client to answer the brief of: “please improve the outlook from the Conservatory and provide more interest in the garden”.

A new bed was created by extending the existing border along the front of the Conservatory.

Transparent plants of; grasses, Gaura and Verbena were planted to allow the client to see through them into the garden beyond without causing an impenetrable barrier. These filled out beautifully in their first year and they flow and billow beautifully in the breeze.

The planting also brings in many bees and butterflies which can be observed without disturbance from behind the glass windows.
